Help Our Horses...

As an all-volunteer organization, we always need volunteers! Our
volunteers participate in the riding program as horse leaders
and side-walkers. They care for the program's horses and
equipment and facilities. If you have an interest or skill--we
can find a position for you!

If you are interested in volunteering for one or more of
Rivendell's programs, please call Trish at 457-3365 or Barbara
at 632-8494 to arrange for training.

Horses eat lots of hay and grain. They require regular visits
from the farrier and the veterinarian. Donations from private
individuals, organizations and business/industry as well as
grants from local agencies provide the funds necessary to carry
out Rivendell's programs. Won't you join that special group of
caring individuals?

How far can your tax-deductible
donation go?

$1,200 Farrier visit for all our horses – annually

$200 Each Farrier visit (every 8 weeks) Even horses love
pedicures!

$125/year each horse or $1000.00 annually for 8 horses:
Vaccinations for horses

$40 heated winter water bucket

$25 new saddle pad

$5 bale of hay

$6 bag of shavings for stall bedding

We have also been recently added to
the Search Engine of GoodSearch. Every time you purchase
anything at stores and locations on the web – be sure to use
this site and choose RIVENDELL as the organization you wish to
benefit from your purchase. Rivendell will receive a percentage
of your purchase! So, please next time you need to “shop till
you drop” – kill two birds with one stone and buy something for
yourself and make a donation all at the same time!

Your donations are tax-deductible and can be mailed to Rivendell.

Rivendell is a not-for profit organization under IRS 501(c)3.
